This was one of the first videos I ever posted on social media. It was 2020, and I had just found out that my daughter had relapsed. I was in shock, completely overwhelmed, and desperately trying to understand how we ended up here. In this clip, I say the words, “Addicts, you're killing us” a raw and unfiltered expression of pain that I didn’t yet know was layered in grief, fear, and love.

This video captures the very beginning of my public journey as a mother navigating addiction in her family. Looking back, I see a woman who had no idea what she was about to face, but who refused to stay silent. This moment marks the start of Doing What You Can Live With…before the clarity, before the calm, before the full story took shape.
